Technical Itineraries are complete guides that, in addition guidance regarding crop protection, also address the various agronomic stages of crop production. Guides to Good Phytosanitary Practice only address crop protection.
The purpose of these documents is to give producers of fruits and vegetables in ACP countries the technical information necessary to best protect their crops from pests and diseases while respecting European standards in particular with regard to pesticide residues.
These documents are intended to be as comprehensive and complete as possible on the different control methods applicable against a pest or disease and therefore do not just rely on the use of Plant Protection Products.
