How to access PIP Phase 2 support? Launch Event in Ghana – 27 May 2010
22/02/2011 On 27 of May 2010, an event will be held at the Airport West Hotel (Accra), to mark the launch of the second phase of the PIP. The workshop will be an opportunity for the PIP team to meet with representatives of the Ghanaian fruit and vegetable sector, and to respond to key questions: How can companies exporting to the European market deal with the new challenges facing them such as food safety, ethical trade, fair trade, the environment, etc.? Developing trade to meet the millennium goals : Two new EU-funded programmes supporting ACP trade
19/10/2009 For the second time, COLEACP is participating in the European Development Days (EDD) – the European forum for decision-makers and practitioners in development cooperation, which will take place in Stockholm between 22 and 24 October. COLEACP is a not-for-profit professional association established in 1973 to promote and enhance the horticultural trade between ACP and EU countries. Its membership includes European importers as well as exporters from some 30 ACP countries

10/03/2009 The PIP programme is broadening the scope of its action with new Training of Trainers sessions. After the first one which took place in Dakar on February, Ivory Coast is delighted to welcome the new training. It will take place at the Haladje Hotel in Abidjan from the 9th to the 20th of March 2009.

Export horticulture contributes to the modernisation and development of African horticulture - Brussels, 10 February 2009
12/02/2009 On 24th February, on the occasion of the forthcoming International Agriculture Fair, CIRAD is organising a round table in Paris on the theme of “Fruit and Vegetables: Food and Health for the South”. COLEACP’s PIP programme will give a presentation that uses the successful results of its cooperation work in African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) countries to demonstrate that ACP export horticulture also contributes to the modernisation and development of horticulture for local consumption.

The PIP is reinforcing ACP expertise in line with the new requirements of the European market for horticultural products - Brussels, 9 February 2009
11/02/2009 The PIP programme is broadening the scope of its action with new Training of Trainers sessions. The first of these will take place at the Faidherbe Hotel in Dakar (Senegal) from the 16th to the 20th of February 2009. Respect for environmental constraints as well as the setting up of integrated control and ethical production strategies will be the topics covered by this course.
