COLEACP General Meeting

COLEACP held its General Assembly (305 members) in Paris on Friday, 26 June. As in previous years, the activities of the PIP were at the centre of discussions between members. On the eve of the launch of PIP phase 2 (scheduled for October 2009), the meeting focused on COLEACP’s strategy for the next 5 years. While this is closely linked to PIP2, it must also take into account the implementation of the SPS programme, a new cooperation programme that the European Commission intends to entrust to COLEACP within the framework of strengthening food safety systems in ACP countries.
