PIP begins launch events for Phase 2 with a first workshop in Senegal

More than 60 participants animated the workshop held in Dakar on the 9th of March for the launch of PIP Phase 2. Potential beneficiaries were able to inform themselves on the types of support provided by the Programme in response to the new challenges raised by an ever-demanding EU market. The European Union, donor of the project, was represented and accompanied by its main institutional partners. 

The event was also an excellent opportunity for the PIP Team to meet new actors of the Senegalese fruit and vegetable sector. Broad media coverage enabled the event to reach a widened audience well beyond the workshop participants. PIP/COLEACP and its partners consider that the objectives of the workshop have been fulfilled.
